Topic for discussion of the coal supply situation in the UK as reported in the May Newsletter.
I have wondered if there could be an argument made to run a small coal mine as a heritage exercise. 1 or 2 days a week. Producing just enough coal for Museums and other small coal users. I know it would all come down to costs. I would be curious how much coal a heritage railway uses in a year and how much that costs them.
